Masako Goda received her vocal training at the Music Academy in her home town of Kyoto. Further studies then took her to Lübeck, where she passed her concert and chamber music examinations. While still a student Masako Goda took prizes at a number of competitions. After graduation, she was engaged for two years at the Volkstheater Rostock, where she was heard as Königin der Nacht in Mozart’s ʺDie Zauberflöteʺ and as Olympia in “Les contes d’Hoffmann” by Jacques Offenbach.
Masako Goda has been a member of the Bavarian Radio Chorus since 2002.
