Diana Fischer

Voice group: Soprano

Born in Baden-Baden, soprano Diana Fischer has been a member of the Bavarian Radio Chorus since 2014. She studied at the Hochschule für Musik und Theater in Munich with Angelica Vogel and Sylvia Greenberg. After receiving her concert diploma in 2005 and attending classes at the Bayerische Theaterakademie, she completed her education at master classes with Edith Mathis, Barbara Bonney, Claudia Eder and Helen Donath. In addition, she studied vocal pedagogy at the Anton Bruckner Privatuniversität in Linz, where she earned a Master of Arts degree.

Diana Fischer is a member of the ensemble at the Freie Landestheater Bayern, where she can be heard in such roles as Blonde (ʺDie Entführung aus dem Serail”), Kurfürstin (“Der Vogelhändler”) and Marie (“Zar und Zimmermann”). She has made solo appearances at the Händel Festival in Halle, the Landestheater Eisenach, the Opera Festival in Bad Hersfeld and the Landestheater in Linz. Besides guest appearances in the operatic repertoire, she is especially active as a concert singer with a special affection for the oratorio and cantata literature by Johann Sebastian Bach, which she has sung on a number of concert tours abroad.
